Overall Satisfaction with AlphaSense

I have alerts set up into my inbox for the news daily. I search keywords for the news that I need.

Pros

  • Provide me full texts of the article.
  • Lets me create dashboards to view my latest news.
  • Provides email alerts.

Cons

  • Email alerts are duplicative. For example, clinical holds gives me the same type of news as gene therapy, even when the main topic is not a clinical hold.
  • It is not a user-friendly, intuitive database
  • Embedded info is hard to find.
  • enable me to do a newsletter within the company.
  • more competitive insights
  • broader content sources, for sure
It is a bit cumbersome to use, because it has so much within it. It is worth a lot of value, if someone really was a super user.
I get the email alerts in real time (7 am, and as they happen, etc.) Love it!
