Overall Satisfaction with AlphaSense

Use AlphaSense to do general research on industry and companies. Find the product is useful to find financial-related information and general trends.

Pros

  • Good at aggregating relevant data
  • Has a good database of information
  • Good search by keywords function

Cons

  • Wish the aftermarket research wasn't paid by page
  • Search function is good but could be a bit more intuitive when doing precise searches
  • Product has helped provide useful industry research
  • Information gathered has helped the company with strategic reviews
  • Increased our research database
Good platform for single company research and industry / sector reports. Not as good when trying to gather multiple company research at once.
The tracking tool is useful to see what the competitive landscape is doing and is how I keep track of M&A activity.

Overall, good product for doing quick reviews on new companies / industries. Good alternative to other more expensive platforms. Not really a product I would use as my only research tool. Not really the tool I would use to get financial info on multiple companies at the same time or trying to screen for companies.
