Mainly data transformation and accessibility. Alteryx is helping every area of our business become more data literate.

  • Input data from multiple different data sources
  • Output data to multiple different data sources
  • Easy annotation and commenting

Cons

  • Need better error messaging for problem targeting
  • Would like smoother line connectivity
  • Left joins
  • Saves hours per week on data refreshing
  • Saves time and money with simple data transformation projects
  • Upskilling people to the point of improving entire data environments
Most workflows run perfectly smooth, and troubleshooting is simple if needed.
Tableau Prep is great too, but my company uses Alteryx. I have no complaints about either.
