Alteryx was deployed on a special ASC740 Project, where data from multiple files was aggregated and streamlined to pick up relevant information from certain columns based on specified conditions.

Pros

  • Data Analysis.
  • Data Validation.
  • Aggregate of various data sources.

Cons

  • Unstructured data clean up need some improvements.
  • Images and pdf and OCR to be implemented.
  • Customized reports which include data analysis and images.
  • Quick turn around with results - Positive impact.
  • Value added services and greater insights - Positive impact.
  • Set-up once and deploy for consistent results - positive impact.
  • Pricing is not affordable for retail/small practitioners - negative impact.
It's a great tool, but it sometimes lacks certain features that are relevant to customer requirements.
Alteryx may be next to MSBI and Tableau.
