Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use CloudWatch on a couple of projects. Usually for changing CronJob functions, for watch logs and to debug AWS Lambda functions. It is easy to set up CloudWatch to call some AWS Lambda functions.

You can call the AWS Lambda function at a certain time.
You can debug the AWS Lambda function.

Filter and Search can be better from the site.

Return on Investment

Easier to adjust than Cron Job.
Save time in setting watch logs or debugs.

Alternatives Considered

AWS Lambda, AWS CodePipeline, Amazon DynamoDB and Amazon Pinpoint

It's cheap and we use other AVS services. And for us, it is better to use AWS services for faster and easier adjustment.
