Overall Satisfaction with Amazon Route 53

We use this Amazon software to manage incoming customer messages/ requests on Amazon orders for our product. It enables us to connect with these third-party customers (we usually wouldn't be able to, since it's a separate shipping system from our DTC business). I mainly use it to access Amazon orders and speak with customers.
  • Access to order history
  • Ease of response
  • Ease of resolving issues
  • UX design is outdated
  • Customer lookup is often difficult
  • Slow to load
  • Mapping domain names to Amazon Web Services (AWS) resources
  • Migrating records from third-party DNS solution to AWS.
  • Setting up failover and geolocation for applications
  • Customer trust/reliability and responsiveness
  • Ability to access more information (helpful for pooling analytics)

Do you think Amazon Route 53 delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Amazon Route 53's feature set?

Yes

Did Amazon Route 53 live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Amazon Route 53 go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Amazon Route 53 again?

Yes

In general, Amazon Route 53 is a pretty good fit for companies that want a highly available and scalable DNS solution that integrates seamlessly with other AWS services. It may not be as suitable for organizations that require advanced DNS features or have specific compliance requirements that are not met by the service.
