Overall Satisfaction with Anaplan

My firm has successfully implemented Anaplan across many industries and use cases. Personally, I have implemented Anaplan for retailers to help facilitate project planning, financial planning, and assortment planning. Most implementations that I have worked on for Anaplan were assisting clients get out of unscalable planning processes conducted in Excel and helping them to transition to Anaplan's cloud platform.
  • Cloud-based platform (can be easily accessed via a web browser and on mobile).
  • Secure.
  • Scalable (can handle an immense amount of data).
  • Easy to learn.
  • Limited resources as Anaplan is still new.
  • Saves planning teams a lot of time.
  • Provides centralized view of planning and removes versioning issues.
  • Provides security.
Anaplan should be implemented for just about any planning solution. Currently, it is mostly used for Financial Planning but there have been in increase in other use cases such as Supply Chain Planning, Project Planning, Workforce Planning, and Assortment Planning.
If team's are starting to outgrow Excel, Anaplan is the best option.
