Overall Satisfaction with Anaplan

We use Anaplan to centralize our sales data and hierarchies within our department. This core data is used for Planning and Forecasting across the business.

Anaplan system/structure is not a far departure from Microsoft Excel which many people are most familiar with - this allowed for an easy transition during our first implementation as well as onboarding new users. Anaplan presents itself in a somewhat familiar structure while allowing for powerful features once users are comfortable with the core system. While it may not be as flashy as some other products, it shines through based on practicality and reliability.

Anaplan is well suited to replace legacy excel based practices - particularly for planning and forecasting. It is also ideal to centralize data and best practices (Anaplan Way) for rolling out Anaplan appropriate projects. Anaplan is not ideal for unstructured data processes - for example being management of text-based data at a highly complex level - due to size constraints.

Anaplan support team has always been very keen to reach out and follow up on issues. They look to understand our root problem to connect us with the correct expert on their team. We have monthly calls with out customer representative to share feedback and gather new information.

Using Anaplan

Very easy to pick up and learn based on Anaplan learning academy. For end users, the apps allow us to build intuitive interfaces that are modern and robust.
