Overall Satisfaction with AppNeta

We currently use PathView, one of the many product lines offered by AppNeta, to monitor our business critical services such as our primary web presence (www), customer portal pages, and administrative applications. The data collected with AppNeta provides a two-fold insight by supplying performance data over time and uptime statistics to meet our business objectives.
  • AppNeta provides detailed application availability & uptime.
  • AppNeta provides great longitudinal data regarding how the applications perform including an overall grade or "AppDex."
  • AppNeta sends notifications of service downtime that aids in technical dispatch.
  • AppNeta could bundle all of their applications together. We received a demo for TraceView which allows insight on specific DB & API calls which is very valuable, but was not part of our original agreement/pricing structure.
We currently use Nagios/GroundWork and Cacti to perform network monitoring. AppNeta's UI is far superior.
AppNeta is well suited any place where there are customer facing applications where speed/efficiency determines the customer perception of business service.
