Overall Satisfaction with AppRiver

AppRiver is used for SPAM filtering, email encryption, and Office 365 resell.
  • AppRiver has an excellent technical support department to work with.
  • AppRiver provides great support when transferring new clients in from other email providers.
  • Account managers are slow to respond or unresponsive. This creates a great deal of frustration.
  • Account requests or questions are typically unanswered.
  • Glitches with the Office 365 tie-in through the AppRiver control panel can be annoying.
  • Time saved because of their great tech support is huge.
  • Integration with Office 365 is pretty nice.
  • SPAM filter has allowed for reduced tickets related to SPAM related virus infections.
I have not worked with a company that makes it so easy to get in touch with a knowledgeable technical representative quickly. Most of the time, with AppRiver, I can be on the phone with an actual tech within a minute of calling. No other company their size has the focus and dedication to have such highly skilled techs available on short notice.
Many clients use GoDaddy for their email hosting. If you want to see a night and day difference in support, AppRiver is the way to go. I hate waiting on hold with GoDaddy, transferring through their automated menus, finding clients trapped in year-long commitments for email hosting...the list goes on and on with my complaints about GoDaddy. AppRiver makes it as easy as possible to have someone on the phone right away for support. They have month-to-month pricing so if you aren't happy you can always leave.
AppRiver does a great job of making sure the products they provide work, and I know how to make them work if there are problems. Getting my clients into their system is about as easy as I can imagine it could be.
