Overall Satisfaction with AppRiver

We use the platform to remain HIPAA-compliant in our email correspondence with patients and other providers in the community regarding patient care. All staff, both clinical and administrative, utilize the secure email platform.

  • tech support or technology glitches are common
  • the add-on for Outlook, though convenient, does slow Outlook down and often causes Outlook to crash
  • this is an affordable expense
  • tracking has protected our office when it comes to tracking correspondence with patients
  • this checks a big box on our risk analysis when it comes to remaining HIPAA-compliant
I often feel like it's difficult to connect patients with AppRiver support, and I just don't find support to be as accessible as it is with some of our other vendors.

I think AppRiver is well suited for all purposes needed in our office. We are able to communicate easily and securely with patients, feel confident in the impacts AppRiver has on our risk management/analysis, and we love that we can track emails and recall them when necessary. It is very helpful to have the tracking feature for accountability when it comes to scheduling and providing billing estimates via email to patients.
