Overall Satisfaction with ApptioOne
ApptioOne is used at TD Bank to receive the service allocation files which can arrive directly on ApptioOne data drop location, on excel by users or uploaded directly; then process them using our business logic and finally allocate costs once all files had been reviewed in Dev and Staging environments and we can proceed to Production. This process is done in a monthly basis.
Pros
- Process data instantaneously that gets reflected on reports using Dev environment
- Manage huge amount on data on reports
- ApptioOne can start with any data, then with time, data gets cleaner and more easy to digest
- ApptioOne Support team does really well when system is having issues
Cons
- Sometimes build tool takes long time to calculate Dev & Staging environments
- Configuring data and tables in the system is not simple
- Adapt or modify reports sometimes take longer than expected
Our company uses "ApptioOne Data Drop location' to receive most of the files that are ingested on the system giving the opportunity to review proper upload and check for errors before data is placed on Dev environment. The modeling, most commonly named transformation is done in conjunction with service owners to understand how the service work and how the allocation needs to be reflected on the model. Budgeting and Forecasting is done annually and quarterly thru ApptioOne Planning feature Reporting is issued once a month, after we push to production on business day 6
- ApptioOne has accelerated the billable cycle from 5 day to 3 days
- ApptioOne has improved reporting 100% - They are all visible after push to production
- The relationship between Finance and IT has improved considerable since we started using ApptioOne
- Cloudability
We don't use any other products yet. We in the process of evaluation and exploring the opportunity to have them added to our suite soon; nevertheless, we still have not been informed about the decision.We will definitely would like to have them all since combined are a powerful tool that could give a lot of reporting and general information almost instantly due to the powerful calculation speed that ApptioOne has.
