Overall Satisfaction with Articulate 360

We create trainings for state agencies. Trainings need to be accessible and responsive, which wasn’t fully met with the program we used to use. Rise allows us to meet this goal while also creating attractive trainings.

Pros

  • Rise is responsive
  • Review is super easy to use and share
  • Easy to publish deliverables
  • easy to have multiple people work on a training since it is web based

Cons

  • Only include blocks in Rise that are accessible and responsive - take the guess work out of the process
  • More types of interactive blocks - different ways to lay out MC questions for example
  • more layout customization - image size, format corners, text formatting (e.g., space after P)
We use Review and Rise. Review is great for internal review, esp if you want to send a quick link without publishing it out to the server to review. The product allows quick updates during review, which is nice since we all make mistakes. Rise is very easy to create deliverables from. I do wish that there was a text only option — the PDF text won’t extract and it is a PITA to pull the final content for whatever reasons we might need it for,
I have a team member that cannot commuter — they were able to put a course together without a ton of assistance. It saves me a lot of time since I don’t have to train the software.
We needed a responsive product. Lectora took too much time and the result looked bad.

I think it works best when you need people who don’t have time to learn a program - Rise is very intuitive and online help will resolve most “how do I” issues quickly. While the simplicity does create down points re: customization, it does allow anyone to make a course that looks good and functions well with no programming experience.
