Overall Satisfaction with Articulate 360
We use it everyday for creating both quick dev and traditional eLearning.
Rise gives us the flexibility to rapidly create when that is needed and viable. Storyline allows us to customize visuals and learning experiences when we have more time, or want to include a more detailed and creative testing situation.
Pros
- Iteration. Review makes it simple and easy to collect and track feedback.
- Flexible. We can right-size our solution in Articulate.
- Integration. The new AI assistant is promising and the content library is so helpful.
Cons
- The AI voices are not good. Don’t stand up compared to stand-alone generators.
- More customization in Rise.
- Increased stakeholder attention to review, because it is easy. Better reviews, better end products, happier clients, fewer review loops.
- Decreased dev time for lower-requirement eLearning
- Brand adherence
- Template adherence
- Customization
We use Rise and Storyline and Review in a cohesive loop to create micro and traditional eLearning.
The ability to distribute and collaborate in Review as well as through the Teams features allow us to scale rapidly, work consistently and collaboratively, and delight our customers.
By the time we are finished, we are confident we have a product that will work in our LMs that meets the goals of our stakeholders.
I haven’t used AI Assistant heavily but find it hit or miss. Sometimes it provides something I can build from , sometimes it provides something I can use as-is, and sometimes it provides something I can’t use at all.
It is a new tool, though, and I expect it to grow and improve over time!
It is far, far superior. Easier to use, faster, more stable, just as customizable, and meets our use cases. It doesn’t assume the devs know better how to use the tool than I do.
Captivate is clunky and hard to use by comparison. Elucidat is chasing needs I don’t really have.
