Neos Essentials

Overall Satisfaction with Assembly Neos

Assembly Neos helps us organize and access case information for daily use. We are able to sort important documents by file name, type, or date saved for retrieval. The program allows to run reports on the data we collect for our individual case types along with progress on each case.

Pros

  • Allows us to make details notes and attach documents to those notes
  • Allows us to create emails using contacts connected to the case
  • Allows us to create Sharepoint links to send information quickly

Cons

  • I would like to be able to sort Docs by date saved without opening in Sharepoint
  • I would like to be able to tag an email to a case and have the ability to add an attachment. Court emails have documents that must be downloaded. I cannot tag the not and connect the document afterwards.
  • As a paralegal, I do not see the ROI statics for our office.
Easy to use.
Well organized.
There are a lot of error codes received daily when moving between tabs unfortunately.

Assembly Neos is well suited for our personal injury cases. It is not perfect when saving court orders and motions as those cannot be tagged with documents attached later. These types of emails have links embedded, not attachments. It requires us to download the embedded link, save the document to the case, copy and paste the motion or order email, and then attach the document. An easier way would be for a user to be able to tag the email and then modify the Neos note by being able to add an attachment.
