Assembly Neos gets the job done

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Our firm has been using Assembly Neos since July 2024. We are a personal injury law firm and Assembly Neos has been great and super helpful with keeping track of deadlines and keeping everything in its place. Using the checklist feature makes my job so much easier when I have tasks to keep track of. Neos integrates with numerous other programs, such as Quick Books and DocuSign, making it even more useful and valuable to our firm. The texting feature makes it easy to keep in contact with clients for treatment updates and quick questions.

Pros

  • I love the Assembly Neos checklist and utilize it daily to keep track of upcoming deadlines and making sure everything is done on time and followed up on.
  • Keeping track of medical records and billing is much simpler with Assembly Neos.
  • Keeping track of case negotiations is much easier with Assembly Neos.
  • Having access to client texting with notifications makes communication a breeze.
  • The DocuSign integration makes it very easy to send documents to clients or other attorneys for signature.

Cons

  • Assembly NeosAI is improving each month, but there's still much left to be desired, especially when it comes to analyzing documents.
  • There are issues with creating documents from templates where the order of the names are mixed up; i.e., last name, Esq., First name.
  • Since my prior two examples, Neos AI has come a long way in improving when it comes to analyzing documents. I hope it will continue to improve with each update.

Return on Investment

  • New client calls from the intake to sending and receiving signed contracts can be done while on the phone with the new client, making it so you can begin working on their case immediately.
  • The integrations with DocuSign has made it much easier to send documents for execution.
  • Texting clients is a breeze with Neos, which is a quick and easy way for quick communication with clients for updates.
  • Neos has not had any negative impact on our firm and is getting better with each update.

Get Neos now - run, don't walk

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Neos is fantastic - it allows us to text our clients, which allows multi-tasking at it's best. I often can be on the phone or sending an e-mail and will send text messages to other clients which is very efficient. I love that it adds a copy to our notes tab as well. I also love that if a client texts a photo, it will go right into the account, which saves me time.

Pros

  • Texting: as previously described, the photos client's text to us get uploaded to their file.
  • It connects with Yocierge, which allows us time to do other things as Yocierge takes care of entering the invoices into Neos and saving the client's medical records and bills directly into the file.
  • The organization is super easy to use and to understand.
  • The new contact search by case is great! It allows us to see where all the contacts are in multiple case.

Cons

  • I wish the intakes were better. You can't add more than one person to an intake. Often times, there are more than one or a parent is calling on behalf of a minor.

Return on Investment

  • It has simplied and made my work flow a lot easier, especially with the easy checklists which having the reminders go right to my inbox is awesome. I wish the text message notices would also go to my inbox. Sometimes I miss those.

  • calendaring

Cons

  • There could be a better system in place for client treatment upkeeping.

Assembly Neos - Beware its a trap

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We keep track of hundreds of personal injury cases, and basically use Assembly Neos as an overpriced directory, but only because, in my opinion, they trapped us in a contract after tricking us into switching from Needles. To some degree, the document generation saves a bit of time, but only on the most basic documents. UPDATE, I left the firm that used Neos, and while I miss the people, I am very happy to not use Neos anymore.

Pros

  • They pay 50 bucks to answer surveys
  • Assembly Neos has never given me a paper cut
  • They send a lot of emails suggesting that the updates will be good
  • Marketing

Cons

  • Notes. How hard is notes? Apparently very.
  • Tagging emails. In my experience, they brag about all their AI, but an email with my client's name in the subject and Assembly Neos doesn't suggest that file?
  • In my opinion, they keep adding dumb crap instead of fixing the basic things that don't work well
  • In my experience, the "training" SUCKS. I feel it's a waste of time and money
  • Re-release Needles

Return on Investment

  • In my opinion, the bad mood that Assembly Neos puts me in affects my staff
  • Knowing that some of the money I make has to go to Assembly Neos makes me sad
  • Assembly Neos has inspired one of my staff to try their hand at designing a CMS
  • I can't believe we paid for "training"
