Overall Satisfaction with Atlassian JIRA

Its our current end to end solution for project management. We use it to manage design and development tasks.

Pros

  • Parent child relationship with tickets
  • Captures original esitmates
  • Sprint planning

Cons

  • Does not sum up original estimates from sub tasks into the parent
  • Very difficult to configure
  • It feels very bulky
  • Emails notifications are a PITA for users
  • Too early to tell, but we have been having record months.
Asana is not well suited for development projects.
We are locked in for a little bit to give it a real shot.
Get an admin to get it set up for your organization, it's a full time job in the beginning.
