Overall Satisfaction with Auvik

I use it daily to assess what is and is not working and as a vehicle to diagnose a range of issues with systems it monitors and with which communicates.

Pros

  • Connects to end devices
  • Provides visibility to environments
  • Provides information to diagnose problems

Cons

  • Mapping networks accurately
  • Working with third party systems
  • Removing bugs from the existing system
  • Connectivity to devices
  • Visibility and tracking of information/events
  • Alerting
  • It is unclear from a hard dollar standpoint.
  • The value is in not having things break or knowing what was broken and fixing it after the fact. It increases the speed of resolution.

It works well in virtually any environment to help provide visibility into what is going on. It is difficult to consider a scenario where it does not provide value.
