Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Avalara Excise is currently used in the Indirect Tax Motor Fuel Department. Avalara Excise addresses a one way simple solution to bring together all of our business transactions into one place and allows the department to file tax returns timely and accurate.

Allows for accurate reporting
The ability to query data in a manner that is useful to analyze

Cons

Functionality - a user should be able to work throughout the program by using keyboard strokes, especially when filtering on information. Example: I want to filter for a state, I should be able to click into the Jurisdiction column, type in the State needed the tab to the filter box and use my arrow keys up or down to select starts with or contains, etc.. this functionality was available however it went away recently. The less a person has to move their hand away from the keyboard the more productive they are. You spend a lot of time jumping from keyboard to mouse.

Likelihood to Recommend

Avalara is great at selling your product, however, could use some help in taking time for customers especially during implementation of products.
