Overall Satisfaction with Avanan

Avanan is being used company-wide for us. It is our main application to detect and block malicious emails containing spam, phishing, malware, and executive impersonation attempts. We also utilize it to verify if one of our accounts has been successfully logged in from outside the US as well as an engine for DLP events to make sure communications and sensitive information is being sent and received securely.
  • Anti-phishing, Avanan does a very good job catching phishing events on a daily basis. I check the dashboard everyday and see it catch some very suspicious emails.
  • Malware, Avanan is very good at catching possible malware content within emails and is proactive in the sense that it quarantines those emails and alerts us the administrators about it.
  • Avanan does a great job at catching DLP events. It has definitely helped us be more secure after seeing how much sensitive data was going through our network prior to having Avanan.
  • Avanan is very good at bringing in more tools that may help us. It is constantly testing out the best applications that would give us as a customer an edge in security.
  • The only thing that I would want to see in Avanan that it currently doesn't have to my knowledge is the ability to pull emails from our user mailboxes in the event that a suspicious email did make it through. We can quarantine them though so not a huge deal but it would be nice to have that functionality.
  • Improved data security

I would recommend Avanan to anyone who is looking for a system that can detect and act on phishing, malware, DLP, logins outside a selected range, executive impersonation all with very easy integration and excellent customer and tech support. We utilize Google Workspace and so I would highly recommend it to anyone under that platform as well.

Avanan Support

Throughout the years I have had to contact Avanan Support. They always answer quickly and always seem to have a real sense of urgency to help me. My issues with their platform are always fixed quickly and when a tech agent doesn't have an immediate answer they go out and get it for me. I am confident in Avanan because I know if something happens they are always there to help and answer my questions and concerns. Their support is also very friendly and always willing to help clarify any doubt as small as it can be.

Using Avanan

Avanan has made its dashboard very easy to navigate in the reality of things. It is a system that is not overly complicated. It was very easy to integrate. I can find what I need from the systems relatively quickly and if I don't know how to get something all I have to do is ask Avanan support and they always give me a good answer.
