Overall Satisfaction with Avaya IP Office

Avaya IP Office is used as a primary means of communication with a number of our customers. It has been a robust, reliable platform for many years and it still fulfills a lot of the needs of on premise telephony for certain types of companies, such as manufacturing and engineering where the workforce is less mobile.

Pros

  • SIP calling
  • Digital telephony extensions
  • Analogue telephony extensions

Cons

  • The Workplace app is way behind times
  • Population of information between 2 Server editions is patchy
  • SCN Links between systems are sometimes unreliable
  • Good and reliable - minimal downtime
  • SBC provides highly secure communications
Ease of use of the management interface. Users are able to use effectively.
System is very reliable in the main
IPO way better than both these products in terms of programming ease and end user interaction
