Overall Satisfaction with Axcient x360Recover

We user Axcient X360Recover as our primary backup solution for all of our clients. We primarily use the BDR option, but in some cases do use the Direct to Cloud solution as well. We love the BDR solution because we can get a problem deivce back up and running as a VM within an hour, easily. To the client, they're working as they were before while we take the server or workstation that has gone down and we repair it.

  • Storage Reports could be better
  • Monitoring BDR Health
  • Support can take a while to respond.
  • We resell, and it's one of our best profit lines.
  • It works, so it's easy to sell.
  • It's quick to use, so downtime is minimal.

We had a competitor that had their windows-based backups all hit with Cryptolocker due to one weak password. In my experience, because x360Recover is Linux-based, Cryptolocker has never once corrupted any of our backups. We have always been able to find when the issue started, and recover back before that time.
