MailGate plays a vital role across the entire organization in securing email transport to and from high priority clients

Pros

  • Ability to alert a variety of statuses to administrators via email
  • Shows health status of the appliance to ensure proper functionality

Cons

  • External storage configuration is complex to set up
  • Customer support is average, can be slow depending on the type of issue or request
  • MailGate has allowed the organization to accept more clients with their knowledge of our ability to securely send emails
MailGate works well with administrative control and ease of use for setting up TLS connectivity between clients
MailGate is well suited for organizations that have sensitive information with the need to securely transport via email, it is less appropriate for larger organizations as the overhead for administrators becomes more complex
