Overall Satisfaction with Azure DevOps Services
We use Azure DevOps as our continuous deployment solution. Essentially, anytime we merge code into staging or master, we use Azure DevOps to automatically build and deploy.
- It makes it super easy to create build and deploy pipelines
- It has built in connectors for most of Azure
- It ingrates well with GitHub
- The Azure service connection's secrets expire annually by default. Not a big deal, but it's a little annoying when builds start to fail because of an expired connection.
- Pipelines
- Artifacts
- It has made our deploy process easy and robust.
Azure DevOps has a drag and drop editor so that you can quickly drag build steps into a build or release pipeline. This is much faster than looking up the correct yaml syntax. Additionally, its support for Microsoft and Azure is great. If you're on the .net stack or you use Azure, it's really the best tool to use.
