Overall Satisfaction with Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT

The only problem I have is that customer service takes a long time to resolve our issues. This is a new problem post-COVID.

The reporting tools are great! I love that I can create any report that is not already available. Everything is customizable.
NXT allowed us to see data at our fingertips with the dashboards. I think they need to be improved on, however, they are 100% improved from the old desktop version of reporting (no dashboards).
I was a Sage user for 25 years prior to coming into my current job. Blackbaud was already in use here. I struggled at first because the system was old and the balance sheet didn't balance. We made the decision to upgrade from the desktop version of Financial Edge to NXT. I fell in love with the system. It is so easy to use and has the depth to pull all the reports I need in multiple levels of detail. It is easier to use than my beloved Sage product.

We upgraded to NXT and were given the opportunity to redesign our GL. The implementation team was excellent and helped us to think outside the box. It was a lot of work but was the smoothest implementation we could have had. I would recommend this software for any business in need of a robust Accounting Software.

Yes, because we were implementing NXT.
Yes - No, we have problems with the Bank Rec at times. And they never really resolve the problem.
When we were implementing NXT, the engineer assigned to us was excellent. She was an accountant who had the software expertise. He helped us to design our GL and implement with no issues at all. I have never implemented new software with no problems before or since.
