Overall Satisfaction with Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT
Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT has been good and bad. It is very easy to learn and navigate, but when there is a glitch, it is frustrating. The best part is that the reports are easy to understand, especially when explaining what is wrong. The system is by far the best accounting software I have worked on.
Pros
- Reports are easy to create
- Reconciliations are so much easier when linked to bank
- Customer services is ready and competent
Cons
- Accounts receivable module
- Where we don't have to go on Database view to change stuff
- All my previous points have been modified
- More knowledgeable support
- Accounts receivable module on Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT
- Everything is going web base
We have not utilized that with our Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT. Working with a semi-small company, we are just starting to use some of these systems.
This is very useful for us. Our Director of Finance had no financial background and was able to navigate and understand when using the dashboard.
