Overall Satisfaction with Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT

We converted to Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT from an archaic system that is no longer in production and had no support...what a difference! In other industries, I have converted five financial/reporting systems, none of which went as smoothly as the conversion to Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT.
  • Reporting - very flexible and easily customizable to our business needs.
  • Workflows are logical and easy to learn.
  • Support is exceptional whenever we have needed to address questions or are rolling out additional functionality. Everyone at Blackbaud is professional, friendly and willing to go the extra mile to help.
  • Overall performance is solid and communication regarding upgrades and required service updates is consistently delivered so we have time to plan accordingly.
  • Other than the final conversion to webview, cannot think of anything else.
  • Improved reporting capabilities for both financial and system processing requirements.
  • Easier / more streamlined processes - fewer steps to accomplish what is needed!
  • Opportunities to partner with other Top Tier vendors to deliver data / reports seamlessly.
  • Less paper!!
Audit processes are much easier to support with the flexible reporting capabilities. Additionally, the standard documentation created as part of system process in any module is very detailed and helps support audit requirements/review processes.
Currently, we do not utilize the dashboards.
Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT offers robust reporting tools out of the box, with very little customization required to meet reporting needs. Other systems I have used required skilled report writers to develop financial and operational reports needed for internal and external reporting. With Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT, we have been able to handle report development internally, and have the ability to customize the presentation of the data based on specific requirements.

System is extremely easy to use and the screens are set up logically, making the transition from another system relatively seamless. The reporting tools are very easy to use, making customization simple. Having said this, the standard reports are outstanding and cover almost anything you might need. Add great support services and knowledgeable Team members across all of the products, and you have a winning combination, making it easy to recommend.
