Overall Satisfaction with Blender

Blender is a free 3D software that, when applied to audiovisual production, is your best ally when it comes to new ideas, projects, and/or social media content. It's simple, practical, and above all, quite competent compared to other similar software (Maya, Cinema 4D and others) with great support in the free software community as well as a wide range of assets and addons that complement the experience

Pros

  • 3D modeling
  • Rigging
  • Animation
  • Motion Graphics
  • Renderig
  • Compositing

Cons

  • Game Develop
  • Sculpting
  • UV mapping
  • Color and 3D painting
  • It has worked quite well for us for product rendering as well as advertising composition.
  • Excellent for running FOOH ads
  • More than competent when it comes to animating animated characters and creating Motion Graphics
  • Our clients (companies) have requested projects exclusively made in these formats.
Because while it's a pretty good piece of software, the default built-in commands, the interface layout, and certain functions aren't as logical in their way of being arranged and executed. This, of course, doesn't diminish its use or effectiveness in your field of work, but it is quite awkward at first. A big advantage is that Blender lets you customize the interface however you want as well as keyboard shortcuts and several general program parameters.
In addition to being free to use, Blender is competent and complete enough to do the same things as these programs. While some stabilization is still needed in some aspects, many of these They work quite well and practically the same as them. In addition, Blender has a procedural generation tool called Geometry Nodes that generates nodes based on the creation of geometry complex.
