Overall Satisfaction with Bluebeam

Bluebeam allows me to perform construction takeoffs digitally, mark up plans, modify pdf documents just to name a few of its benefits. Bluebeam basically combines Adobe like software with On Center’s On Screen takeoff software into one platform. Having access to both of these type programs combined into one, saves me time and makes me more productive.

Due to the fact that Bluebeam has multiple capabilities, its usability receives the highest marks. We are able to utilize Bluebeam in all of our departments within our company, Construction, Development and Management. Each department utilizes the program in their own unique way. On the construction side, we use the project estimating/takeoff tools daily.
I believe Bluebeam is actually easier to learn and use versus Adobe Acrobat. With it’s how to videos and great customer support, there’s basically not a problem that cannot be figured out. As far as PDF modification, I believe Bluebeam’s tools and screen configuration is very user friendly compared to Adobe Acrobat.

Bluebeam is a powerful tool/software program within the Construction industry. With the ability to scale and perform takeoffs of your blueprints that are in a pdf form is incredible. Combing the takeoff capabilities with being able to create and modify pdf documents is awesome. With these capabilities plus more, Bluebeam is a software program that I use daily.
