Overall Satisfaction with BlueJeans
We use this application for our day-to-day meetings. It's really easy and user friendly to share screens, do video/audio conferencing, etc. Typically all my meetings are scheduled with BlueJeans. It does have a good video and audio clarity. And I like the fact that I can use the computer audio as is without dialing in when I have to search for my phone ... Mostly my team uses it. I can say we are a department in a whole organization.
- Computer audio. I don't have to depend on my phone and its battery.
- Video conferencing. Can see everyone who is connected with the line. Doesn't matter if it is from onsite or offshore
- Good clarity
- I installed the app, but every time I use the link, it will prompt to check whether I want to use app or join through the browser. I mostly work from home and use VPN to connect to my office server. In this case, I couldn't have a successful connection with app. Rather it was so frustrating for me at the initial stage as I found no solution for this. Later I checked to see if "Join through Browser" could be of use. And yes, it worked. Since then I use this option to get connected. As I liked BlueJeans and got used to it, all I need is to get connected somehow, rather than being specific to get connected through app. But if this issue can be resolved, then it would be awesome, as I don't know how many would have dropped so far as they couldn't find an alternate way to use.
- I would like a whiteboard kind of thing, similar to the one we have on 'WebEx." It would help to scribble something during the meeting so that everyone can visualize the imaginary version of the presenter
- As mentioned already, with my role, a huge positive impact is that it led to more face to face conversations, especially with interviews. Now I can see candidates even when working remotely, and can see the offshore team during the standup meetings on a daily basis. We also do retro meetings that last for an hour with video conferencing. It feels like they are in the same room though physically they are miles apart
Quality on video and audio. Also can see multiple people in the video windows when connected from multiple sites. These are the few that made me rave about BlueJeans
