This is the main platform for all video conferences used across all campuses at Kangan Institute.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Seamless video stream.
Integration into Outlook.
Sharing screen capabilities.

Cons

Volume settings are not easily accessible once logged on.

Return on Investment

Money saved on travel.
Increased meetings due to ease.
Better work life balance.

Alternatives Considered

Skype for Business (formerly Lync)

BlueJeans seems to have more functionality when sharing screens. Also if a user on the other end does not have it set up, it can be difficult to use.

BlueJeans seems to work well in most scenarios. It helps if external companies already have it set up to reduce setup times.
Face-to-face meetings are always best to be able to pass documents around easily, write on a whiteboard in brainstorming sessions, etc. A whiteboard function in BlueJeans could be a great inclusion.
