Overall Satisfaction with Bonterra Case Management

Bonterra Case Management is perfect to communicate services and efforts between employees. We can keep track of progress made with clients as well as needed next steps. It is easy to compile needed grant documentation as well. The case management software has given us the perfect tool to structure our work in a meaningful and impactful way.

Pros

  • Intuitive to navigate
  • Allows people to check in on progress of clients
  • Gives an organized place for grant-required documentation

Cons

  • I wish the external link situation wasn't required to be a tier 1 form and was more fluidly connected with the profiles we created.
  • I wish that it would auto-populate profile information from external links made
  • Sometimes uploading files, like copies of ID, it will say the file is too large and it's annoying to have to format it down.
  • Very positive - has allowed us to confidently show impact
  • We have been able to track things we hadn't before, such as track how long between coming into the program it takes on average before entering housing
  • Tracking demographics and trends has been valuable for grant applications
Yes we have. We've been able to identify the racial demographic of our clients we work with and adjust program delivery accordingly. For example, we identified a large Spanish-speaking group and took time to translate all of our documents and paperwork into Spanish. Once we did this we were better able to reach and serve the Hispanic populations in our cities.
Being able to communicate our impact with confidence makes a big difference. We can give an accurate picture of our clients and our impact. We can show improved wait times or increased referrals. We have been able to go back and remember conversations and inspirational stories from things shared with us that were written as case notes over time.
I don't remember the names of the other ones, but about five years ago we interviewed several others and they were all way more expensive and many required more complex coding.

Do you think Bonterra Apricot delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Bonterra Apricot's feature set?

Yes

Did Bonterra Apricot live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Bonterra Apricot go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Bonterra Apricot again?

Yes

Bonterra Case Management is the most affordable option we found. It is well-suited for case management, assigning case managers and keeping track of notes and documentation that can be uploaded. It would be less appropriate probably for an organization with more employees - the limits of how many users you can have is frustrating even when we have more than one intern, as we technically are out of accounts then and can't fully show our interns how to use the software appropriately.
