Overall Satisfaction with BrightHR

We use BRIGHT HR to capture all of our employees personal details and holiday requests. We also use it to store HR documentation relating to each person IE work contract, return to works, medical certificates, disciplinary info. This means that all the documentation is in the same safe place for everyone and avoids duplication. The holidays and sickness logs mean we can track these easily and the team can see these for themselves.

Pros

  • Accurate & secure record keeping
  • Easy access for team
  • E Learning completion and recording

Cons

  • Too much information on home pages - Confusing
  • Need to be able to hide certain information from certain people IE Salaries, but allowing full calendar access
  • Not easy to amend working patterns once scheduled
  • Good value but needs to be more bespoke
Great in lots of ways, but our business maybe too complicated as lots of anomalies

For an admin it is easy to see calendar , but for a team leader it is not possible to see the whole team , only their team and then we have to remove salary and next of kin/personal information due to data protection.
