Overall Satisfaction with Brightmine

I use Brightmine to check on current HR laws and HR-related regulations in the United States. I also get the daily "HR and Compliance (US)" alert emails in the morning and also attended a handful of Brightmine webinars.

Pros

  • There is lots of relevant information in the government laws database
  • The daily alerts provide a good overview of the latest news across the different states as well as lists of the new laws that recently went into effect.
  • The webinars that Brightmine has conducted have been informative and useful.

Cons

  • Sometimes the search feature doesn't work very well. When I put the keywords in the Search box, the results that are then displayed weren't related to the topics I was interested in.
  • This is not a major issue but I would like to see some more HR webinars for existing Brightmine customers in the future.
  • While I can't give an exact ROI number (or range), Brightmine has saved HR employees time by shortening the amount of time needed to conduct research on HR labor laws and HR best practices.
We use the HR & Compliance Center with all the HR regulations and best practices the most. I don't think my organization uses the other products listed above.
This has improved my work in my role by providing a centralized location where I can go to get the information I need.
The Brightmine customer success team has been very helpful when I've interacted with them. They know the products well and are concerned that the customer has a good experience using the product. They have added to the positive experience I have with Brightmine.
For HR compliance database, Brightmine is the only tool I have used in that product area so I am not really able to compare with other products. My experience with Brightmine has been a very positive one. Keep up the great work!

The Brightmine tools and services would be very helpful for entry-level HR professionals who are interested in learning about all the different HR topics in the field or anyone else whose interests or work responsibilities center around Human Resources.
