Overall Satisfaction

This is used by more than one IT groups to test our applications across various OS, browsers, devices and versions of each as an indication of whether or not our software behaves consistently across these platforms.
  • Easy to use
  • Convenience of not having to manage each environment and multiple conditions of each
  • Intuitive
  • Speed
  • A way to simulate 2-finger pinch in and out on phones and tablets
  • We only just began using it so an ROI is not yet available.
  • Though I can see it helping customer service greatly with tech problems of calling customers as they can replicate the customers exact configuration in many cases.
The only similar thing we've done is use our cabinets full of iphones, ipads, android tablets and phones.
We also run Firefox through a VM machine, which is not ideal for the person using it. We do this because our company does not support the use of Firefox, so it can not be installed on company-issues computers.
That is my best guess based on the ongoing need for support of various users and the ease that browserstack offers.
Anywhere it's important to view sites through various browsers, OS and devices would be an appropriate scenario.
Better suited to run from a desk top as opposed to a VM or sandbox due to the fact that the speed was significantly reduced through the VM.
We found the speed factor improved noticably when running Browserstack directly from desktop.
