Overall Satisfaction with Budgyt

We use Budgyt to maintain our Actuals vs. budget/forecast variance analysis. We also allow transparency for budget owners to see their P&Ls and the details behind it. We use the exports and imports to derive further reporting when needed. The product is very easy to use and almost every product enhancement has been exactly what we needed to make the experience even better.

  • We would have loved to see a Balance Sheet/Cash flow function within the platform, but almost like Budgyt knew, it's already in beta stage of being released!

Planful was another software we looked at that seemed to have a lot more bells and whistles. Integrations into PowerPoint and Excel that were probably too much for what we needed. In the end, Budgyt was very easy to learn and understand. It provided immediate value.

As a very affordable, easy to use platform, we use Budgyt primarily to compare our actuals from our accounting software to the budget we put together and used Budgyt to help build. The HR formulas allow for us to add bulk headcount with different bonuses, tax implications ect. These tasks used to take hours longer. In every part of the budget planning process for 2022 (a year after we've had the software), we were able to utilize the software and reports it produced. Our planning time was almost cut in half and we were able to spend more time scrubbing expenses, building out scenarios for leadership. We don't need the bells and whistles that a more robust system might provide (at a much higher cost). For a company that is active in the M&A space, we are constantly adding complexities to our P&L and Budgyt handles it all.
