Overall Satisfaction

We are currently using a full host of Ceridian products for our HR needs:
-HR/Payroll Web for our HRIS database, payroll processing and employee reporting
-Source Self Service is an employee self service tool where employees can access pay stubs, change direct deposits/addresses/life events and complete open enrollment
-Time & Attendance is used for tracking hours worked and processing payroll
  • Time & Attendance is a great timecard keeping system for tracking employee hours and reporting data on staff
  • Self Service isn't particularly user friendly, but once it's up and running the automated benefit enrollment process saves a lot of time and money
  • Customer Service & Support
  • +Increased employee efficiency
  • -Many payroll errors resulting from Ceridian's mainframe issues which the user has no control over
I was not involved in the selection process and have not used any other HRIS software for comparison.
We are currently weighing our options for other products as the support that Ceridan provides has increasingly declined over the years and doesn't appear to be improving. Lately, almost everything we seem to ask about involved a $10,000 price tag. The hold times for customer service are also unacceptable.
This may be a great product for a large organization, but for a small company, Ceridian's method of charging an arm and a leg for every change needed adds up very quickly.
