Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce

Ceridian Dayforce has made it possible to monitor employees across multiple entities. Having multiple entities near each other and having employees working at each of them meant that they would have to be 'hired' at each one. With Dayforce, we just hire them once, and the system knows that they where they are working and from what entity to pay them from, while keeping the employee's records in one convenient place.
  • Bringing together multiple processes (i.e. benefits, time management, or payroll) into one easy-to-use system saves time and money.
  • Having one record across multiple entities/systems makes it easy to track an employee that works at each entity.
  • Reporting can be made a little easier to use. However, with updates that are in the future, this will be addressed.
  • With the "one-record" system it save time and increases efficiency, saving many people time and energy.
Dayforce has kept our organization in compliance especially with keeping up with new state tax withholding. Oregon's new STT and TriMET taxes were automatically added as soon as they became relevant.
Being able to have the "one-record" system makes it very easy with being able to transfer easily between entities, and having real-time earnings/deductions for these employees that work at multiple locations in an overview that is easy to use.
Having Payroll, HR, and WFM in a single application, and creating a real-time view of employee's pay (which includes any deductions), makes it easy to be able to check, and cross-reference information and increases accuracy.
Dayforce is a very robust system. It is perfect for medium to large companies that can be domestic or international. Dayforce may not be suited for small companies.
