Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce
Ceridian Dayforce is used by our organization to process payroll utilizing WFM, Benefits and Payroll.
We process a payroll almost every day due to the laws in Alaska and since we have layoffs almost every day when their fishing contracts end, this creates a lot of commits in Ceridian and we are able to have next day direct deposit.
- The ability to commit with next day direct deposit.
- The ability to create W2c's as needed, even though I only needed to submit a few.
- The payroll register has the data I need for researching taxes.
- Report writing, being able to add the fields I want without knowing how to select a different topic table.
- The My Pay Silverlight feature is faster than the new Payroll HTML feature.
- Being kicked out of the system frequently.
- Ability to reduce headcount within the Payroll department.
- Quicker importing for time data.
- Quicker commit times for layoff payrolls.
Prior to Ceridian we filed the taxes for all the states ourselves which was very time consuming. By utilizing Ceridian Tax Services we are able to monitor what is submitted to the states every payroll and the quarterly and annual returns can be balanced appropriately. This has saved many hours of work.
As the Payroll Manager I am not involved in the corporate hiring, just for my own 4 employee department so since we don't use recruiting from Ceridian I don't have the answer for this question. The company does utilize the scheduling feature within WFM for our plants and that feature is very helpful.
The ability to see all the data related to our employees within one single Ceridian database is very helpful. We are able to Calculate the payroll frequently to bring over the data from People, the former My HR, and see it update real time. We are still learning all the features of the new People module
