Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce
Dayforce is being used at the entire organization at our local property here. We utilize Dayforce as our time capture system, and Ceridian Freedom as our employee data capture system. Dayforce helps us to keep track of comp time and time clock activity. It integrates well with our employee data capture system most of the time.
- Ceridian Dayforce is very easy to use for employees. The web time clock doesn't require any training for new employees.
- Ceridian Dayforce is easy for managers to understand and approve their own payroll.
- Ceridian Dayforce is very user-friendly overall, and does not require much training or continuous instruction.
- In general, it integrates well with our employee data capture system, Ceridian Freedom. However, the exports fail when there is a piece of incorrect information in a new or existing entry. I always have to call support for this because there is no obvious warning or anything when data imports fail.
- I would like it to be easier for employers to update things like policy changes about overtime or vacation themselves without having to reach out to support.
- We have seen a reduced reliance on paper.
- We are spending less time on payroll in general.
We do not utilize Ceridian Dayforce for compliance related items. We utilize Ceridian Freedom for compliance related items. The one way that Dayforce is involved is in capturing data related to policies like overtime, Vacation, Sick Leave, etc.
We utilize Ceridian Dayforce, in Conjunction with other Ceridian Products, for employee record keeping. Ceridian Dayforce is only the first step in the actual processing of payroll as well. However, it is very user-friendly, and feels like a one-stop-shop for the items that we do use it for (particularly time capture). We do not currently use it for scheduling, but that is an ability that I would like to implement at our property soon.
