Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce

It is used across the whole organization. We use it for HR, Payroll and WFM.
  • Very user friendly
  • Having a Flyout feature to check immediate impact to someone's pay is a great feature
  • Training videos are helpful
  • Sometimes when you call support you get someone who is untrained and has no idea how to help you.
  • Some of our initial setup appears to be wrong, however we've had numerous band-aid solutions applied and now things are a mess and fixing everything is almost impossible.
  • It's difficult for managers to manage both schedules and timesheets consistently - maybe something in place to make this easier for them?
  • Less statements mailed because employees can see their earning statements online
  • Less paper because reports can be saved or run again
  • Less spreadsheets being used since managers can use schedules and time sheets
It doesn't. Our organization is not set up properly so reports don't work well to pick up all of the information we need to submit the proper withholdings. Plus some of the overtime calculations work properly and for others, the calculations don't work at all. Also, vacation pay at 4% pays out properly sometimes and most other times we do quick entries to correct the amount.
It hasn't affected any of my decisions. However, in processing the pay, it is extremely handy to be able to double check an employee's HR record, payroll and time sheets all within one application. This makes checking very easy. I would love to see schedules added to the payroll function, like time sheets has been (in the Flyout feature).
It makes checking everything very simple and fast. I especially like having the time sheets and time data available in Flyout, this has saved me so much time. The impact of having everything in one system is huge, there is so much value to that, especially when you are checking a payroll of over 4000 employees.
Well suited due to its ease of navigation, but sometimes things happen overnight and we don't know why. We could be out of balance the next morning when nothing should have changed. Sometimes Dayforce calculates things incorrectly and we can't figure out why. Errors in pay are not easily described and that makes them hard to figure out how to solve.
