Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce
We use many of the core modules; benefits, payroll, HR, reporting, recruiting, etc. We use Dayforce as our system of record and main reporting system. It supports about 650 employees, mostly end-users. Admin to about 15 employees.
- I think it reports well. The templates provided are a great start for many custom reports. Support is also key to creating custom reports.
- The onboarding tool is a good way for new hires to get acclimated to the company. The setup is very easy, yet has plenty of options.
- Creating custom forms is a good tool. It allows us to tailor forms exactly how we need them for various reasons.
- The benefits module works perfectly fine but I think it could use more detail and explanation around the setup. Especially when it comes to expressions. There aren't many docs that detail expressions and if you want help from support, it is sent to PS which costs money.
- We don't currently use schedules, but I did with a previous company. I thought the setup was difficult and confusing.

Dayforce does manager our tax information and overtime policies. We do not have unions. I like that compliance emails are sent out when a new law is coming for a state/country.
It allows us to view pay trends which aid with our compensation planning. We do not use the scheduling module. With all the history and candidate information in one system, it really does help with detailed reporting.

It makes reporting much more convenient. Everything in one system also lessens the chance of file feed issues between multiple active systems. When I worked with multiple active systems we often had failed files which caused the systems to be out of sync and not up to date on a daily basis.
