Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce
Ceridian Dayforce is being used for scheduling, payroll, HR, and recruitment. The entire organization at all levels uses Ceridian Dayforce. Our HR team is the primary administrator. Ceridian Dayforce allows us to limit the number of systems we are using, as it is an all in one platform. It allows us access to real-time data--data that we never had access to before!
Pros
- Stays one step ahead--always looking to improve the system
- Gains customer feedback (xoxo portal, INSIGHTS, surveys) for future upgrades/enhancements
- All-in-one system--efficient and user friendly system
Cons
- Fast responses from the support team can be improved (although I have seen large improvements in this area over the years)
- Support to organizations that don't have an HRIS specialist (its hard to keep up to date with all of the enhancements/upgrades that we'd love to utilize!)
- We seem to struggle with ROEs
- Increase in productivity (cut payroll processing time by at least 50%)
- Reduced paper (for employee changes, everything is now saved/tracked in Ceridian Dayforce rather than relying on paper for hard copy files)
- One system for payroll and scheduling (rather than two)
Viewing schedules in real time is beneficial for filling last-minute vacancies. Having access to employee records with all history is beneficial for making decisions on things like compensation changes. We now have all the employee data at our fingertips and can easily run reports to extract the data into Microsoft Excel. This has also reduced our administrative errors, as we can see our changes reflected in real time and can run reports to double check.
We have experienced an increase in productivity by using a single system rather than separate systems and having to administer multiple systems (e.g., adding and removing users, updating employee data to multiple systems). Also, fewer user frustrations (e.g., forgetting log in credentials) now that employees only have to use one system. They become more comfortable with using one system over time.
