Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce

Currently we use Ceridian Dayforce to process our North America payroll. It is being used cross functionally within many departments: HR, payroll, HR operations, finance, and compensation. It does everything from remittances to paying employees, keeping track of time and attendance, GLs, and more. It's a great system that I highly recommend.

  • Off-cycle payroll save us money in employee noncompliance complaints and penalties and fines
  • Being able to process ROEs offcycle save us fines from Service Canada
  • Efficiency saves time and money as we need fewer payroll analysts
Ceridian sends us insights into any employment standards updates or CRA updates on a provincial and federal level that may impact payroll. They offer support when needing to implement changes or they offer solutions on their end so we do not have to worry about these changes. Essentially they notify us of upcoming changes and provide solutions.
When hiring employees, we need to know if there are hours available for them. By using Ceridian, it makes it very easy to keep track of current employees' hours and gives us real-time information to see if we need more employees on our roster. This also gives us the opposite information if we need to reduce our headcount in specific locations.
I love having a "one stop shop." Using other payroll softwares where you have to use many different systems to gather the information you need to solve payroll inquiries or to pay employees can get time consuming and confusing. I love how Ceridian Dayforce integrated all of these in one. It makes it easier and more time efficient.
Ceridian Dayforce is extremely user friendly. The layout can be customized for each customer. You can set up easy tabs at the front of things you use most frequently to reduce how many screens you need to click into. Customer service answers timely and helps us a lot. I think Ceridian Dayforce is well suited for medium to large organizations (500+ employees).
