we use Circle Community Platform to host a currently free, active community for our customers, helping them connect to one another, access exclusive events and resources, and discounts. For us, it helps us build deeper bonds and trust with our B2B customers and serve our mission of empowering and inspiring our industry.

Pros

  • Dedicated spaces for different topics or audiences
  • A variety of formats to serve different content needs
  • Events - hosting and promoting

Cons

  • Deeper analytics and more customization in metric views
  • More accurate tracking for invite links (Not just clicks; actual joining would be useful)
  • Increased the siz our most engaged audience
  • Increased our overall engagement with our audience - way more two way dialogue than traditional email marketing can do
  • Increased attendance at our webinars and paid classes
It's an excellent and intuitive platform. The UX is familiar so it's easy for admins and users. I've found customer support and the knowledge base to be excellent too.
The benefit of products like Slack and Facebook groups are they are integrated into tools that most folks already use. However, we wanted the customization and community tools Circle Community Platform offers. Luckily, Circle Community Platform offers an excellent email notification system that helps us alert folks when there is new content.

It's intuitive and mimics the UX of familiar social media sites.
