Cisco Access Point
The Cisco access points are being used across all of our departments. From the Main Government Center, the hub of the community, to all outlying departments across the boundaries of the entire community. Really anywhere where wireless access is vital to the success of Daily operations and task vital to our community.

These products last. You can hang them almost anywhere and they will work and not complain. The power draw is also fairly low so you can put many on the same switch no problem.
Easy to add and program. Low power requirements make it easy to add more onto exisiting switches.
The controller has a new interface that allows you to quickly set up AP's and deploy them to the field or areas of your choice. You can unbox and set one up a lot faster than the models of the past. From your most experienced user to your newest any of them should be able to get the device out and working in a timely manner.
Yes the LAN controllers allow us to set up access points all across our community. We have a large community that is seperated into several areas so this has been very effective at allowing us to deploy wireless to areas in which we haven't been able to in the past.

Quickly deployable to fill in gaps or dead zones. Easy to install. Signal strength/and coverage easily impeded by certain material types that can make you use more than expected in certain environments.
