Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Catalyst 9100 Access Points

Well, this is actually to cover the WIFI area. So we use this product to cover the WIFI as a part of the WIFI's infrastructure. So that's the wireless access points to give access to the users as well as the clinical devices.

Pros

  • So this product actually helps in healthcare facilities where we have a wireless, we call this WOW monitors. It's Wireless On Wheels. So we use those monitors to the patient's room to room. So in that case, rather than connecting it to wire, so it really helps us to connect through the WIFI and access the patients whenever we be needed.

Cons

  • Well, so right now I can't see any shortcomings or concept of this product as long as it actually gives us a flawless throughput through our wireless devices. So we don't find any issues with that so far.
  • Well, so in that case, that may not be applicable for us because this is a government, so it's a budgetary, so we don't do any business. Healthcare industry is funded by budget, so it is already pre-approved for every fiscal year. So I don't think that that's the business and return on investment. I would say the return on investment India on the other way, it actually serves our requirements.
So 9in the sense it's mostly fulfilling our requirements. The one in the center as itself, the WIFI has its own shortcomings, like interference, and so sometimes we have to deal with what's called the complaints of connections issues, but it's very, very low numbers. But still we are still going through those connection issues as well.
Well, so we have actually, it's more flexible and is easy to implement, and also it actually fulfills as per our require. And so that's the reason.
Well, it totally depends on the projects. We have multiple projects as growth and sustainment, redevelopment and small projects like for the small community sites. So it depends on the project timelines, but we purchase, but we don't actually keep those devices long time in the warehouse. As long as we purchase just right away, they go for implementation.
We have a flexible Flex Connect networks and it really helped us to connect with more sites. Yes.
So that's our company policy to go with the standard products. We have tried a couple of other vendors, but we didn't actually get a proper alignment with our requirements. So Cisco actually passed our standard requirement. So that's the reason why we go with Cisco. And also I would add the customer support is also, flow is readily available and it's very accessible, like whenever we need it. So that's also one of the criteria that we choose to go with Cisco.

Yes

Would you buy Cisco Catalyst 9100 Access Points again?

Yes

Well suited in the sense that we use wireless on wheels devices a lot, having devices to monitor the patient's room to room. So this is a very useful, actually, it helps us to transmit the data through the wireless infrastructure. And I don't see, it's less because the WIFI is everywhere, it's very vital part of our life, so I can't say any shortcoming, so it's less useful
