Cons

  • Cisco call home licensing set up
  • Good ROI
  • Great user and App access experience
  • Cisco Call home licensing
Cisco Catalyst had a long known solid performance and reliability compared to Juniper which is a recent move to the MDF/IDF switches. Cisco has always been premier on TAC support. Even Cisco 9300 was pricy compared to Juniper EX switches but the mentioned capabilities stacked up for going with Cisco.

Cisco Catalyst switch 9300s has been a smooth upgrade/transition from Cisco Catalyst 3750s as it was a simple config transition from 3750s config with a few modifications on the uplink modules config. The Catalyst 9300 has increased our throughput and bandwidth between MDF and Core which was a huge improvement for users and businesses.
