Basically, Cisco Catalyst Switches offers two types of network switches, one is fixed configuration and other modular switches, which allow organizations to use them as per their requirement.

- SNMP feature allows monitoring of many component and do measurement of traffic flows. Many devices can also run an HTTP server.
- ROI improve by using CISCO switches
- so far no negative impact as these are all IT equipment so sometime device failure may happen so can ignore that if service from CISCO is within SLA
