Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Endpoint Security Analytics
We use Cisco Endpoint Security Analytics primarily for endpoint threat protection and visibility. This is used with about 300 client PC's. It does help to protect our Windows PC's from threats and gives us notifications if a threat is detected. It also remediates the issues without intervention, which is imperative because we have a small tech staff.
Pros
- Provides details about what apps are being used
- Threat detection
- Analytics
- Budget friendly
Cons
- False positive detection of files and apps that should be whitelisted
- Needs a better interface for administration
- Could be easier to deploy
- Has prevented malware/virus infiltration
- Product has given insight into apps on the network
- Provides a basic level of oversight
Cisco Endpoint Security Analytics is easier to use than any of these products and seems to offer a better level of security. Symantec has failed to deliver any kind of support or updates since the Broadcom acquistion. The other products seem to be more geared to home or small office use. We chose Cisco Endpoint Security Analytics because we trust the brand and it seems to offer more features than the competition.
